March 2010 |

Greetings.
I am so glad the Olympics have moved into history. It was an exhausting
experience. I never shed so many tears in happiness ever. I know I am
not alone in that sentiment. It is normal for Canadians to step aside and let others bask in the glow of victory, but not this time. Canada collected 14 gold medals at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver B.C., the most ever by a nation since the Olympics began. What I felt most was vindication, that we were worthy to stand on the podium and collect the top prize. We gave notice that Canadians have arrived and we're not going anywhere anytime soon. ![]() Here are some wedding photos of Colin Decker and his bride Jennifer Jang. The wedding took place on Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands on 28 January 2010. Of course I did take pictures of what I saw on Grand Cayman. The link below highlights my trip to Stingray City and some of the sights of the Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Gardens. |

This little lady pictured below is a
miniature horse born recently in Australia. Mountain lions are not something you expect to find lounging on your deck at home. A family on Casper Mountain in Wyoming found this lion on their property recently. Click on the photo above for more. A lion, tiger and bear all in the same house? Well, it's true. For their story, click on the above photo. My pilot friend in Leduc Alberta, Bruce Sinclair is now employed with Morningstar Partners and will fly medevacs out of Edmonton Municipal Airport. Bruce sent along a few pictures. Click on the picture above to view. There you have it, another month wrapped up and a new one begun. For a winter I was not looking forward to, it has gone by surprisingly fast. snow storms could be lurking in the future but it won't matter. Anything that falls from the sky now cannot last much longer. Spring is inevitable and it's coming. A little snow right now wouldn't be a bad thing. I am feeling much stronger these days. Time spent at the 'Y' is paying off in reliable muscles. My skis are cleaned and waxed and my snowshoes sit idle, patiently waiting for the next chance to take a stroll in the woods. Take care everyone and remember to live, love and laugh at every opportunity. See you here next month. ![]() Nancyd Northern Comfort Info |
